Ceasar Salad Dressing |
|
I've been using this ceasar salad dressing recipe for years.
It's a tried and true standby.
![]() 1/4 cup olive oil
1 tsp lemon juice 1 clove garlic, minced 1/2 tsp dry mustard or 1 tsp prepared mustard 1 tsp worchestershire 1/4 cup parmesan 1 egg I just combine all ingredients and blend until smooth and creamy with an immersion stick blender or my little Big Boss blender. I had a Magic Bullet, 2 actually. They both went to college with my oldest and middle daughters. I bought the big boss because it was cheap and I've been very impressed. It works just as well as the Magic Bullet did. I always have fresh parmesan in the fridge, but have never had much luck mixing it in nicely. I usually use the packaged parmesan, but if I want fresh parmesan, I omit it from the mixture and then just sprinke on the salad afterwards. Sometimes we add diced cooked chicken breast and wrap it in a soft tortilla shell for a quick meal on the go. I double this recipe for a salad large enough to feed the 5 of us. ![]() I have an old really simple stick blender that works just fine, but when it quits I'd like to get this one.
Look at all those great colours! The blending shaft detaches and can be put in the dishwasher...how great is that?! So much easier to clean. It's a reasonable price and has the most highly rated customer reviews. back to sauces, dips and dressings back to recipes |
